Clayton Kershaw Return Could Be Imminent

Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw had a very successful rehab start Friday night at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga.  Kershaw pitched five and gave up two hits ,one of them  a home run, while striking out six.

Based on Kershaw’s performance Friday night as he rehabs from shoulder soreness, it may be hard for the Dodgers to hold their big stud back.

When asked Friday night, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly didn’t rule out a Kershaw return to the big club in his next start and said that the decision would be left up to the southpaw flame-thrower.

Kershaw could make his return against the Minnesota Twins next Thursday night in Minnesota if his scheduled bullpen sessions go well.

The Dodgers ace messed up his shoulder in the season opener in Australia on March 22.  Think the Dodgers will ever play in a game like that again?

No. Beyond ridiculous. Never should have flown there. Practice was sacrificed. Very big stupid dumb move. Must have been money.
