Cowboys Disrespected by Malcolm Jenkins
- Updated: April 15, 2014
Malcolm Jenkins, the Eagles newly acquired safety, hasn’t played a game yet for his new team, but that hasn’t stopped him from disrespecting his NFC East rival, Dallas Cowboys.
During Monday night’s appearance on the NFL network, Jenkins expressed his disdain for the Cowboys defense and whether or not they will be improved in the upcoming season.
“A couple years ago, their scapegoat was Rob Ryan, and they got rid of him, and he was the cause of all their problems. He went to New Orleans and took the worst defense in NFL history and turned them into a top 5 defense. So he couldn’t have been the problem,” Jenkins said.
Jenkins had this to say after watching his Saints offense tear up the Cowboys defense.
“I had the best seat in the house when I watched the Saints get 40 first downs in one game. Forty. In one game. So it must be the players,” Jenkins stated.
I’m sure the Cowboys offense will be very aware of where Mr. Jenkins is on the field and may have special plans in place to welcome him to the NFC East.
