The 6-0, 190 pounder was a team captain in 2012 and earned second team All-American from Fox Sports and The NFL Draft Report.
Desmond joins brothers Marcus and Isaiah in playing NFL football. Marcus was selected by the Seahawks with the 11th overall pick in the 2003 NFL draft and has played 10 years with Seattle. In 2007 Marcus earned All-Pro and a Pro Bowl honors.
Isaiah hasn’t had quite as illustrious an NFL career as his brothers. He toiled in the Arena Football League with the Kansas City Brigade, Spokane Shock and Arizona Rattlers. His NFL shot has consisted of practice squad duty with the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets.
