Oklahoma Sooner Faces Indecent Exposure Charges
- Updated: October 16, 2013
Oklahoma Sooner sophomore wide receiver Trey Metoyer has been charged with two counts of felony indecent exposure for two alleged incidents in August and September. Documents filed at the Cleveland County (Oklahoma) on Tuesday detailed the charges.
Metoyer apparently exposed himself to two different victims and subsequently admitted by incidents. He has not been with the team for several weeks.
Metoyer played in two games for the Sooners this season, catching two passes for 18 yards. He is a former 5-star recruit out of Whitehouse, Texas who attended Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Virginia.
Oklahoma head coach Bob Stoops issued the following statement about Metoyer’s situation, “Trey has not been with us since prior to the TCU game and at this time I do not anticipate that he will return to the team in the near future.”
Yet another young athlete with a great future has squandered it with ridiculously stupid and irresponsible actions. Hopefully his trip through the penal system will help him “get his mind right.”
