Teammate Backs Up Jets QB Sanchez

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is feeling home at preseason camp.  He has been hearing boos during scrimmages, so nothing has changed since last season.

But Saturday night Jets defensive back Antonio Cromartie wasn’t happy with the fans behavior when he intercepted a poorly thrown Sanchez pass was reported by the New York Daily News, “I think that’s bullcrap,” Cromartie said.

Cromartie went on to give the fans some heartfelt advice, “My thing is, if you’re going to be a fan, be a fan.  You don’t come out here and boo anybody.”

Sanchez will never win the hearts of tough New York fans unless he is able to lead his team deep into the playoffs.  Such is the life of an NFL quarterback.  Big money, big expectations.

Although Cromartie wasn’t happy with the fans’ booing, Sanchez didn’t seem bothered.

“Oh, shoot, I don’t care, that’s the way it goes,” Sanchez said.
