Von Miller Jailed
- Updated: August 14, 2013
The Denver Broncos Von Miller has been arrested for failure to appear in court on a misdemeanor charge. The charges are reportedly for careless driving, driving without a license, and no proof of insurance resulting from a stop last October.
That is a good way to take something small and make it a lot bigger. What was Miller thinking?
According to Arapahoe County sheriff Louie Perea, Miller has tossed in the can on Sunday and then released. The Denver Broncos have released a statement saying they are aware of the situation regarding Von Miller’s court hearing.
The warrant was reportedly issued on January 2. After being arrested, Miller was released on $1,000 bond.
KMGH reported Miller was arrested at the Centennial Gun Club, a shooting range in the city of Centennial, near Denver. The sheriff’s department’s arrest citation matched the Club’s address.
Also facing a 4-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, the All-Pro linebacker is scheduled to appear there on Thursday. Will he show up?
Miller has been one of the top linebackers and sack experts in the NFL since he entered the league.
